I love this book. I teach special education math at the high school level. I use a textbook issued by my school, but I needed something else to supplement the text for further understanding. This book is perfect. It is simple and clear. Very straightforward. Each page has review exercises (which I use as a bell ringer), then the lesson, then a word problem. So it gives you a little of everything in a neat and tidy format. For my students, repetition and routine is important, and this allows for that. They know what to expect for each lesson. It covers all the necessary topics for my students. For more advanced geometry, this may not be enough, as it does not go into detail or goes over the more complicated skills in geometry. However, for my students and class this is perfect. It is basic but fits my purpose well.

This book is good for practicing what has already been taught. If you are looking for an actual lesson book or something that gives instructions on how to do the problems provided, save your money or find a different book. This book is also only 64 pages of actual practice, as I saw a few other reviews that talked about how the description doesn't say. As a teacher, I was very disappointed to open this book and on the first page find a note that promises a gift for giving it a five star review here on Amazon, then to look below it and find a note that says it is illegal to photocopy out of it! I wouldn't have bought this if I had known that it is meant only for 1 child instead of the 32 that I teach each day.I hope they will reconsider their position on photocopying.

Homeschooling four children has been a great joy in my life. However, I was never good at Math. I wish that during my younger years, I had workbooks that broke down the skills like these do!At night, I use these books to prepare to teach my children their Math skills. The next day, I am fully prepared to teach them the same pages I studied the night before. I have learned so much and so have my children!

My homeschooled child loves Geometry from previous exposure; I chose this and he flew through it, understanding the concepts in this well-presented workbook. I learned some things, too. Not for advanced proofs but learning basics in a clear, concise way.

I am very pleased with Richard Fisher's Geometry in his Mastering Essential Math Skills series. The instruction is clear and to the point. The Review Exercises section is an easy way to check if one has learned the previous concepts. The Helpful Hints section teaches the next concept. Then there are practice problems to use the new skills. The work is presented in a visually appealing fashion that is easy to understand. This geometry book is great for mastering basic geometry skills.

I absolutely love these books! I use them in my tier II intervention program daily. The students are becoming stronger mathematicians, and these books have also helped them to gain confidence in their math abilities. The review at the beginning is exactly what they need every day so that they do not forget those operations, and skills that are easily forgotten. I will be buying more of these books to incorporate into my program!

Well written - clear and concise. Richard Fisher's has easy to follow instructions and problems that directly relate to what was taught. Daily review problems covering past subjects help cement the work in the student's mind. If you have trouble, you may email him and he promptly answers.Some of his books have on-line teaching available - like the Algebra I. Great resource! Well done!! Hope he does Algebra II soon and H.S. level Geometry.
