I didn't love that the story never resolves itself in the end. Also Drake just plain ticked me off. He was rude, demanding, never asked kindly for anything, a cheater, and a liar. Ashley seemed likeable at first but unfortunately seeing how desperate she was made her much less likeable. She knew Drake had a girlfriend but believed the lie "I'm breaking up with her." She also allowed herself to be treated like crap by this d-bag. Sadly, I will not be reading the next couple books because I'm too irritated by Drakes manipulative, jerky behavior.

Great book. Pulls you in from the beginning as Ashley gets stuck in a snow storm, and Colton Drake almost hits her on the road and rescues her. They have great chemistry, but when Drake's girlfriend comes unexpectedly, things change. Sad at the end. The only bed part is that it doesn't end. Have to wait to find out what happens in the next book.

I enjoyed reading the story of Ashley and Colton Drake, as it is a clean romance story. Ashley graduates from college and is dumped by her boyfriend. She winds up stranded in a snow storm and Drake rescues her. Drake is a billionaire who has everything, including a girlfriend, Rachel. Rachel is upset when she discovers Ashley is staying in Drake's cabin. The story leaves you waiting to read the next book to find out what happens to Ashley.

Very good book. It was very easy to read and I enjoyed it very much. Will look for the next book

Decent story. Cliffhanger!

I just finished another book with a similar premise and thought it would be interesting to see how this one compared. Unfortunately, while I have enjoyed several of Christine Kersey's books, this is not one of them.After enduring far too many unrealistic repetitions of how attractive/attracted they are to each other, I got to the point where Drake kisses Abby after he had ordered Abby to fix lunch & she goes to read a book (instead of politely explaining to him that she's glad to do her share as an uninvited guest but won't be commanded like a servant), and then he just watches while she tries to get a can on the top shelf of a cabinet with her sprained ankle & finally moves to stop her when she's about to break her neck. So when he kisses her after that, there's no romantic build up in that moment, and it just comes across more like he's forcing himself on her after messing with her head. The stuff described up to the kiss is NOT alpha male attractive - it's more akin to creepy, manipulative behavior that you would see in an abuser grooming his victim.Then as I'm getting ready to write this, I discover in the other reviews that this has a sad, to be continued ending? Checked and sure enough it does. So relieved I didn't make myself plow thru it or I would have been pretty ticked - like many, I read these kinds of books for fluffy fun and very much hate cliffhangers. So, sorry, but this is one of my rare DNFs.

This is just me personally and how I feel about this book. First of all, it is not complete and leaves you hanging. If you want to know if couple ever gets together have to read next book(s?). Second, the characters aren't really likable (to me). The man is a player (and not reformed). He has a girlfriend and is cheating on her with the heroin of the story. She is pushed around and he even pretends she is his housekeeper to keep his girlfriend from knowing. The woman is no better for letting herself be used (not sexually, it is pretty clean that way). Anyway, I don't like incomplete novels and these characters aren't lovable to me. Just my opinion and it is my review.

For Ashley a new collage graduate, a new adventure, going to Reno, An unexpected snowstorm and car now stuck in a snow bank. Walking back toward where she came and hoping to hear a car. Colton coming up to his cabin,whenever he could. Enjoyed running the business that his dad had turned over to him. His dad was proud of him, but he still felt like he needed to do more. Maybe that is why his relationship with Rachel and not having time for her wasn’t a priority. He almost didn’t see her, standing in the middle of the road. Causing her to jump back and sprained her ankle. Stranded till snow stopped, at leastis was a two bedroom, and there was heat.Trying the simpler way of explaining why Ashley was there when Rachel shows up unexpectedly. He now had second thoughts of breaking it off with her., but did. With Ashley it was fun, but he would have to get back to reality, and the business. Great, now he messed it up with both of them. Choices were made, was it of regret and he would seek her out. Interesting plot of how a few days changed these two people. I enjoyed it, and how it turned out, a look at how a few days can work magic or regrets. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
